This course has helped me to become a better person at home as well as on the job.
I have changed everything I do in my family worker position as a result of this course. And all that I have learned and applied to my work has so far been very successful. I think all family workers everywhere should be required to take this course, preschool directors too.
This is a wonderful course to offer family workers to help families build on their strengths and work towards their goals. I would recommend this course to any family worker.
In the FDC training, frontline family workers learn and practice the skills that are necessary to provide strength-based family support.
Formerly available only to frontline family workers from Abbott district early childhood programs and Head Start centers, the program is now available to all individuals that work with families.
