Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Comes Alive!

While Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is hailed, even mandated as "The" Empirically Supported Treatment for depression and anxiety, some find it to be too simplistic, superficial and intellectual. Aaron Beck originally envisioned more than just worksheets and charts. He also advocated experiential and emotive techniques such as role play, imagery and "reality tests." This workshop will teach specific methods to help enliven and deepen CBT to increase its effectiveness - and make it more fun. This workshop is interactive. Be prepared to get out of your chair and participate.
