Challenging Racial Disparities Conference: Race and Justice in America Today

This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Jelani Cobb. One of the strongest and clearest voices on the complex issues of race in America, he is a Columbia University professor, a celebrated author, and an acclaimed writer for The New Yorker magazine. He is also a Rutgers University alumnus. Other speakers include Hinda Winower and Nydia Garcia-Preto. Let's further the national conversation on race together. Designed with the practitioner in mind, this conference will provide social workers and allied professionals with a dynamic learning opportunity on the topic of racial disparities. Through expert presentations and interactive discussions, attendees will gain new skills to address issues of race in their practice with clients, organizations, and communities. Lunch is included.
