Successful Treatment for Criminal Justice Clients: A Social Work Perspective

Participants of this workshop will become aware of the diversity and oppression that exists in the prison system. This workshop will also describe the set of symptoms, coined by Terence Gorski, called "Post Incarcerated Syndrome" (PICS) that is present in currently incarcerated and recently released prisoners, and relate them to successful treatment and discharge.
