Developing Objectives and Planning Your Workshop

This workshop will address the basic elements needed to present a successful training program. You will explore how adults learn and how that impacts on the instructional techniques you use. You will learn how to develop goals and objectives for your workshop. You are invited to bring current training assignments for further development and input. Finally, an overview of common instructional techniques will be presented and you will design a timed outline for a training session. This workshop does not qualify for NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors) clock hours
