Suicide Prevention in the School Setting: Identification and Intervention

The workshop is designed to help school social workers, school counselors, and teachers understand their role in identifying students at risk for suicide. In this workshop risk factors and indicators will be discussed and policies and procedures in addressing this issue will be explored. Resources and ways to make appropriate referrals will be described as well. This workshop does not qualify for NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors) clock hours in ethics.
